With the addition of the following items, <br />ihe plans are approved. <br />1. An additional hand wash sink is raquired in ihe front service area. <br />2. All !cod service equipment shall meet ihe requiremenis of the Nationa� Sanitation Fcundation, <br />N.S.f�., or equivalent. <br />3. Floors, walls 2�d ceiling of the food preparation and scullery area shall be Iight-colored, smooth, <br />nonabsorbent and easily cleanable. The walls in the vicinity of sinks must have additional <br />protection to 18" above the 11ood rim. Plastic laminate or fiberglass reinforced plastic is <br />acceptable material. <br />4. There shail be no direct connections beiween the sewerage system and any drains originating from <br />equipment in which food is placed. This inciudos ice machines and vegetable prep sinks. <br />If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout or equipment, ihe Snohomish Health <br />District must be notified. <br />A pre•operaiional inspection is required prior to opening for business. Ptease contact the Food <br />Program office about one week in advance to schedule an appoiniment. This will insure complian�e <br />with the Rules and Regulations of the State Board of Healih for Food Service Sanitation (WAC 248-84). <br />Piease contact me if you have any questions.
