DOUGLAS MULVANNY/Architects
12200 Northup !day
Bei.evue, Washinrj-n 98OU5
PROJECT
Everett Mall Addition,
Everett Mall Way
Everett, Washington
DM/A #86-95.01
MEETING N 0 T E S
MEETING NOTES
April 87
MP
P,r)R 17 1087
C1T'y ,)F EVERETT
pubic Works Dept.
Meeting was held at the City of Everett on 7 April 1987, at 8:30 a.m.
Attendance: Julie Johnson - Douglas Mulvanny/Architects
Doug Budden - City of Everett
Ben Edwards - City of Everett
Larry Callahan - City of Everett
Brian Sequin - Reid Middleton and Associates
Buzz Warter - Team Engineering
Bill Cook - Team Engienering
Alan Young - Frontier Construction
Jim Dougan - Frontier Construction
Frank Miller - Frontier Construction
Meeting was held to answer and clarify any questions or concerns that the City
or Everett have had in order to expedite the permit process.
Some of their concerns which nr;d to be addressed now and during construction
are as follow:
I.. Concerned about the encroachment into the mall area. They want to make sure
we have the 20 feet of the mall clearly marked - a good way to do this is by
a change in the floor tile, especially in the Food Court area.
2. We need to keep the exiting from the old mall through the new addition
during construction. We can do this by phasing - working on one entrance
while the other two are open. The side entries will be open the majority of
the time.
There will be a 20 foot wide corridor from the center entry to the parking
lot and a 20 foot wide corridor along the front to remain open and clear of
all materials during construction to allow fire and aid car access. The
City will be informed on the phasing schedule.
3. If there are any handicapped parking stalls in the area of construction,
they must be relocated.
4. All tenant walls are one hour rated.
5. On a day to day basis, we will be dealing with Doug Budden.
