Obtain and post in a conspicuous place, a Fire Uepartment permit for: <br />Garages. To use any structure as a place of business for repairing motor <br />vehicles. See Article 29. <br />Weldinq and cuttinq operations. To conduct welding and/or cutting <br />operations in any occ�pancy. See Article 49. <br />, 2. The portable fire extinguisher(s) must be properly serviced, then tagged <br />anc� dated by a person authorized by this department to do such work. <br />3. Rem�ve the sleeping facilities from the shop area or provide proper <br />separation per the Uniform 8uilding Code. <br />4. Repair garages requires two exits. Therefore, a second exit must be <br />provided. <br />5. Provid= 1-hour separation between the shop and storefront area; this also <br />includes a rated solid-core door. <br />6.
