This has been discussed with Mr• Randy Clazk of Select Homes, Mr.Pat McCourt <br /> of Univusal Hrolcaage Corporation, and Mr. Michael Crowson of W&H Pacific. <br /> We have observad no signs of in�tability on native slopes in Divisioos III and IV• Fill <br /> slopea on Divisions IQ and IV wae�°°Stxuct°d W�th Swcn'ral fi���°nsisting of on-site granulaz <br /> soils unda full-time moniWrinE of a qualified individual from our firm. 'Ib� swctural fill is <br /> lceyed into existing firm native soils and fill placed to achieve the final slope grades hu bcen <br /> properly benched into existing native materials and compaMed to 95 percent of MDD (maximum <br /> dry density)according to d�e specifications of the ASTM D-1557 test procedure. In addition,the <br /> lots are gradod to slope away from the tops of slopes and all slopes have been covered with jute <br /> maning and hydroseeded for erosion protection. <br /> In our opinion, where slopes have been placed, compacted, graded, and vegetated as <br /> dascribed above,the minimum building setback distance can he reduced to ]0 feet. 'i'he setback <br /> distance is the 6orizontal distance measured from the front face of che footing co the face of the <br /> slope.
