Fill
slopa on Divisioas iIl and N were conswaed With structural fill coacisting of on-sitc granular
soils under tull-time vwniloring of a qualified individual from our firm. The swctural fill is
keyed into existing fi'm native soils and fill placed to achieve the final slope grades hu been
properly benched into existing native materials and compacted to 95 percent of MDD(maximum
dry densiry)according to the specifiwtions otthe AST1 Dd557 tese procedure. In addition,Ue
lou are graded m slopa away Rom the tops of stopes and all slopcs have becn covend wih jutc
maning and hydrosealed for erosion protection.
In our opinion, where siopes have been placed, compacted, graded, and vegetated az
describal above, the minimum building setback distance can be redu.ed to ]0 feet. The setback
diseance ishe horizontal distance meatured from the front tace o(the tooing to the face of the
slone. It should be wderstood that if Ihe seiback Jistance is reduc w 10 (eet, he risks ot
losing access, reducing the design li(a of the foundations and having slope movement impacl the
iousc foundations arc incrcucd. -

/ '
