In the event that the Snohomish Health District deternunes that
the on-site sewage system is no longer acceptable within said ten years, the propeRy shall be
connected.
Almost all of the homeowners that we have contacted to require sewer hook up have asked for the
waiver. Most of them site economic hardship as their reason for not connecting.
I woaid like your assistance monitoring these homes. I have attached a list of those customers
requesting waivers. Would you please check through the list and see if you have any record of
problems with the drlin field system for these properties.
If we find that a waiver is acceptable, then would it be possible for these parcels to be "flagged" so
if a problem arises with the drain field we can bc notified?
Your help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Kir Brook
Pemvt Services Manager
Cc: Alan Locke.
