In the event Ihat the Snohomish Health District determines that
the on-site sewage system is no longer acceptable within said ten years, the property shall be
connected.
Almost all of the homeowners that we have contacted to require sewer hook up have asked for the
waiver. Most of them site economic hardship as their reason for not connecting.
I would like your assistance monitoring these homes. I have attached a list of those customers
requesting waivers. Would you please check through the list and see if yeu have any record of
problems with the drain field system for these properties.
If we find that a waiver is acceptable, then would it be possible for these pazcels to be "flagged" so
if a problem arises with the drain field we can be notified?
Your help on this maY.e:wouid be gready appreciated.
Sincerely,
Brook
Permit Ser:ices,Ianager
Cc: Alan Locke,Inspection
Tim Tyler,Building
J1onm Turner.Utility Services
eEnveaoo¢srso cm u;tiwrtccn setn conererno.si
CITY OF EVERETT•3200 Cedar Street• Everett.
