In the event that the Snohomish Health District dec mines that
the on-site sewage system is no longer acceptable within said ten years, the proF . y shall be
connected.
Almost all of the homtowners that we have contacted to require sewer hook up have asked for the
waiver. Most of them site economic hardship as their reasen for not connecting.
[ wou:d like your assistance monitoring these homes. I have attached a list of those customers
requesting waivers. Would you please check through the ]ist and see if you have any rocord of
rc,:blems with the drain field system for these properties.
If we find that a waiver is ac:.eptable, then would it be possible for these parcels tu be "flagged" so
if a problem arises with the drain field we can be notified?
Your help on this matter wouid be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Kir Broo
Permit Services Manager
Cc: Alan Locke,Inspection
Tim Tyler,Building
Monte Turner.litility Serviccs
DF.V➢FC016/SNJ C.YfY HEALTiI iPo0.CFD SEH'FR CCNRECiIONSI
CITY OF EVERETT•3200 Cedar Street• E:erett, WA 98201 •(425) 257•8200• Fax (d25) 257-8856
