The Uniform <br /> Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by che <br /> permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 <br /> days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without documentacion of completion, <br /> you may: <br /> 1) Request an inspeaion of work that hu occurred, to don�ment continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspeaion if the work is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Pleaze respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br /> Department for microfilming a�ithout final approval.
