rvut C. IIaglund. Di.
 Roy VanDerMeersche,
o„T October 17, 1977
ctor of Utilitiee
Water Supt. Craig Thompson, Sewer Supt
r;'l
SUOJEGT PPOSED DCLARATION OF NON- crtr OF CERETT. EVEHETT. WSMINGiON
5IGNIFICANCE: Issuance of permits to
construct 2- 10 unit apaz'tment buildings.
WATR: . .
There is an$ cast iron water mainon the east side of the Emander Road with •
approximately 64 psi pressure to supply this location. The Water Department
records indicate that ther¢ is no fire hydrant nearby.
The construction of the apa.''tment complex Will not have a significant impact on
the water.system. The Water Department should have no objections to the proposal.
SEZ4rERS: '
The proposed development is served by 8" sanitary sewers on mander and on 100th
Street. The proposed project should not have a significant impact on the sanitary
sewer system.
DRAINAGE:
The rk of North Creelc has an existing flooding problem just dovnstream from
this development. Any increase iri peak ilows vill further aggravate the problem..
I cannot recommend tlie issuance of a negative declaration without some assvrance
that tliis development wi11 not negatively affect storm drainage facilities downstream.
