Refer to the attached sections SK-1 and SK-21or retrofit to the hip framing <br />members and the hip connection at the ridge. <br />2. Refer to the attacl�ed architectural elevation with wall section SK-3 that <br />shows the framing requiremencs at the front elevation, including the header <br />above the front door and the first floor stud packs to stiffen the wall for wind <br />loads. <br />3. While onsite, DCI observed several2xG bottom chord (Cross-ties) of the roof <br />framing system that appeared to be inadequate. These areas indude <br />significant wood cracks from knots and checking. The contractor should <br />review the 2xG crossties and prov�de a Doug-Fir N1 2xG splice by G'-0" long <br />with (24)-1 Od face nails on each side of the damaged area.
