WPSMINGTON <br />5217 South 2nd Street <br />(Lowell IOOF Hall) <br />On Januar� 29, 1975 the Everett City Council granted the ow�ers <br />of the building at 5217 South 2nd Street a six month e:ttension <br />of time to allow the rehabilitation of the structure. This <br />time period has now expired and there has been no attempt to <br />upgrade the property. <br />The building has iurther deteriorated and has been badly vandalized <br />during the last several months. It has become a gathering place <br />for children and is the subject of many citizen's complain:s. <br />On June 25, 1975, Mr. John Ferguson indicated to the City Cotmcil <br />that he was goi.ng to take over otaner�io of tl�e building and <br />reqnested time to rehabilitate the builbing. At that time the <br />Council dir�cted tne Commuiiity Development Department to pr.ovide <br />Mr. Ferguson with a list of requir.ed repairs. <br />Jamie Johnson provided Mr. Ferguson with a list of requirements <br />but, as yet, Mr. Ferguson has not indicated that he intends to <br />begin repairs. <br />All parties with a legal interest in the prooerty have been <br />notified of the Council Preser,tation on July 16, 1975. <br />—� <br />� <br />
