At one time the front of the Uuilding, <br />housed a retail store. The IOOF Lodge at one time used the upoer <br />floor of this building. <br />Tltr building was rendered unsafe and unusable by a rather major <br />fire. This fire left very l.ittle salvagable mater.ial. Subsequent <br />to the fire, we asked the ocuner to abate the hazard by demolition. <br />The owner refused to do so. Therefore, we declared the Uuildin4ode. <br />unsafe an3 asked for demolition bids under our Unsafe Building <br />We receiaed seven bids to demolish the building.
