Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design and <br />Construction Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works <br />Department showing site parking layout, landscaping, utilities, <br />storm drainage, temporary construction erosion contiol, and <br />all required improvements in the public right-of-way. Public <br />Works Department approval of these drawings is required prior <br />to any permits being issued. All improvements shall be <br />completed, auproved, and warranted before the Occupancy Permit <br />is issued. <br />2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris <br />at all times during constructior Dust suppression and street <br />cleaning m�•sL occur as directed .! the Public Works I�ispector. <br />3. Performance guarantees are required for the street and utility <br />improvements. <br />4. A one-year guarantee is required on the public improvements for <br />an amount not less than 10� of the cost of construction and <br />shall run for one year from the date of issuance of the first <br />Occupancy Permit for the project. <br />5. As-builts of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems will <br />be requi.red to be submitted per City design and construction <br />standards and specifications. <br />6. The Police Department has the following security <br />recommendations: <br />a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 degree to <br />22o degree wide angle viewers and single cylinder deadbolts <br />with 1" throw and at least 3" screws securing striker <br />plate. <br />!7 <br />c <br />Bay windows should overlook the parking lot for increased <br />security of vehicles. <br />Sliding glass doors should have Charlie bars <br />installed for optimum security. <br />d. Lightinq of the parking lot should be a minimur of <br />1-2 foot candles. <br />e. The storage area should be constructed of 3/4" x H9 wire <br />mesh or at least steel reinforced. It should be secured <br />with deadbolts or 1/4"steel haap and the padlock hasp <br />shackle being a minimum of 1/2" case hardened steel. <br />f. Address and apartment numbers should be a minimum of 5" <br />letters and be visible from the strcet and parking areas <br />for Fire Department and Police Department response. <br />g.
