The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the <br />work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days at any <br />time a&er work is commenced. If you wish to prevent the permits from espiring wichout <br />documentation of a�mpletion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspeaion of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br />Department for microfilming without final approval.
