I do intend to taka steps to address, if posaible, my neighbor's concema. Mr. Anderson was correct when he said, `Jeff wants to be a good neighbo�". I coMinue to balieve, however, that the water run-off and drainage issues are not my responaibilily. I recopnize that drainage and stortnwater run-off come irom a namt3r of areas, both idantifiable and unidentifiable, and contribute to potantial watar problems in the area we live in. Mr. Anderson mentioned that he has been concemed for a number of years about drainage, and frankly I am also concemed. Similar to Mr. Anderson, both of our prope�tiea aro located east of the LowelMLarimer Road and the hpher elevations to the weat of us. Water runs downhill and thaYs where we both live. Since receiving Mr. Anderson's letter, I have done the folbwing: 1. I contacted Mr. Glen Olin, the coMractor who buiR my home, to walk my properly and get his perspectivve. Mr. Olin is a long-standing respectable builder in Snohomish County with 30 years of considerable ezperience. 2. I met with Dave Davis, City Engineering. i;s met me at my property and we discussed stormweter and what I might do. 3. 1 met with you, Mr. Anderson, and my dad on Friday, January 7'" I want to be a good neighbor and wiil take steps at my expenae to help with Mr. Mderson's e�ressed concema. I want to make it absolutey clear, however, that in no way am I agreeing that the stormweter issues are my tesponsibilityr. A$ I previously mentioned, all we have to do is look west and factor in tha stortnwater and drainage that comes from the hillside to see that it impacts all of us. As soon as I am able to schedule the worlc, I will teke the following steps: An asphaR ridge will be constructed on the north (e-w) side of my driv�way to direct driveway tivater to the catch basin at the bottom of my driveway.
