Champion was absent. <br />The reading of the minutes of the September 19, 1970 hearing <br />were read and apnroved as read. • ' <br />A hearing was held on the application of idr. Jule Van Der;�ieershe, <br />4330 Third Street, Loo;ell, P7ashington, requesting a variance from <br />Section 15.09.090, E. C. C. (7.oning Or.dinance) to build closer <br />to the sidc yard that the minimum of five (5� feet as required in <br />an R-2 Sinale Family 13igh Uensity Residence Zone on Lots 15 and 16, <br />B1ocY. 7, Plat of Lowell, Division "A" (9330 Thi.rd Street}, <br />After.ltearing Cestimony by botlt the opponents and proponents, <br />the following findings were made Uy the Board of Adjust:nent: <br />1, A structure was started without a buildin9 permit. <br />2. The North �•:all. of the structur.e has been placed on <br />the property line. <br />It was moved by hir. Dic}:son, seconded Uy �1r. Cronin and un- <br />animously carr.icd to deny the applicant's request for the <br />followiny reasons:� <br />1. No evidence of a hardship was indicated by the <br />applicant. <br />2. The structure c�+os etarted �aithout proper regar.d <br />for laws and regulations oE the Cit}>, so any economic <br />setback was self:-inflicted. <br />3.
