These comments address building issues only, additional <br />revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning <br />or t f Washington and/or Washington State t Energy form uCode Code,ilding amended <br />19, 2ndEdit on u <br />the <br />State less <br />stated otherwise. <br />I. Openings in exterior walls are not permitted when a dwelling is less than 3 feet <br />fro,.n the property line. <br />2. Exterior walls are required to be one -hour fire -resistive construction when <br />located less than 3 feet from the property line. Provide a detail of an approved <br />one -hour assembly. <br />3. Exhaust vents (bathroom, and/or kitchen) may not penetrate the one -hour fire - <br />resistive exterior wall. <br />4. Provide minimum 7'- 0" clear headroom under beams in all living spaces. <br />5, Walls with unbalanced backfill of 3'- 6" or more and basement walls over 8'- <br />0" high are required to be engineered by a licensed Washington State <br />Structural Engineer. <br />6. When windows are provided as a means of escape or rescue they shall have a <br />finished sill height not more than 44 irches above the floor, and shall have a <br />minimum net clear openable area of 5.7 square feet. <br />7.
