<br />lan piPe line from the SuIWn l:icer, which piPe line runs thru the Lo«�ell \Vater Districc and from which line said district

<br />\VIiEREAS, if the snid lliatrict is compclled ta create and set up the neccasary machinery for conducting its owm
<br />w•ater egstem nnd to keep its own necounts, mnke its collections, nnd mninWin and keep in repair its system of p�pes, the

<br />1.—The Cily o[ E�'erett is hereby nnmed the agent ot the Lowell ��'ater District xnd said agent shall conduct, carrl'
<br />mi, mainGiin nnd keep in tepnir and makr. renew'als to thc entire anlcr �s��slem ot the Loa•cil R'utcr Uistrict. It shal: kcep
<br />all the accounts of said Dist-:ct and make all collections of o'ater rates ns hercinUefom provided.
<br />2.-The moncy recei�•ed by the City ut F.�•erett from �vater rute collections shnll bc retained by said City and shall be
<br />accounted for as follows;

<br />Third: That as compensation for its sereices as ngent ot the I.owdl Nater District in maintnining nnd canducting

<br />llislrict, oeer and aboce said exPense? of oper;itiun. maintenance und pnpments to be credited to the depreciation account,
<br />7: It is aRreed th�t tl�e City of E��emtt shall keep a separnte nccount of all moneys collected from or expend�d �cith-
<br />in said Low'cll R'nter District during the life o[ this agrcement. �
<br />�1: It is aFreed th�t Bcerett shall be employed to mnke ull nccessary ser�ice chanqes frout the old R ood's Creek line
<br />and ErerMt distribution �pstent :a t6e new s}•stem of the DisVict, the =ame tn be paid fm� by lhe consumers. Liketcise all
<br />nerv scr�ices in the future snall be connected by Ecerett and paid for in like mnnner bp ihe consumers.
<br />5: It is further agrced that all serciccs in the Lowell �yater District shnll be immcdiatcly metered at rates to be
<br />tised bp the Commissioners ot the Lon•ell �Vater District. Such meters to be charged to caPital outlay end paid for as such
<br />by the Nater District.
<br />G It is furt!ier agreed thnt the Lo�vell �Cater District shall lecy, •ach ycar, n sum equal to $2.00 Per month for
<br />ench fite_hydrant locsted a�ithin said District, which sum shall be paid to the City of Everett as a hydrunt rental, in addition
<br />to ather compensation tn said Cit�� provided tnr herein.
