HEPORT <br />FROM: Marian Payne, Housing Inspector �� <br />DATE: February 28, 1990 <br />SUBJ: 4615 So. 4th St. <br />At the requeat of the tenant, an inspection oP the nouse <br />located at the above sub�ect address was inspected on Feb. <br />27th, 1990. The iollowing violations were noted pursuant to <br />the Uniform Houaing Code: <br />1. There is a lack ot adequate heating facilities. <br />Sec. 1001. (b) b, <br />Sec. 701. (a) Heating. Every dwelling unit and <br />gueat room ahall be provided with heating Y'acilities <br />capable of malntaining a room temperature of 70 <br />degrees F. at a point 3 feet above Che floor in all <br />habitable rooms. <br />2. The wood burning stove inatalled in the living room <br />is improperly installed and unsafe. Sec. lUUl (g�. <br />Sec. %O1 ca� Heating. Such facilities shall ne <br />installed and maintained in a safe condition and in <br />accordance with Chapter 37 of the Bulldina Code, the <br />Mechanical Code, and all other applicable lawa. <br />3. The wall heater in the kitchen has burned when put <br />into operation. Sec. 1001 (g>, <br />See No. 2 above. <br />4. The bathroom lacks a lavatory. Sec. 1001 (b) 1. <br />Sec. 505. (a), Every daelling unit and evei:y <br />lodging house shall be provided with a bathroom <br />equipped with facilitiea conaisting of a watE:r <br />cloaet, lavatary, and either a bathtub or shower. <br />
