Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (sucfi as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adoated by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated othenvise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to rontinue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drewings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Deck is shown as 12'x 26' on site plan; the deck plan view shows 12' x 24'. Please <br /> clarify. <br /> 2. Specify proposed "U type joist hanger"for pressure treated joists. <br /> 3. Deck section czlls out "manufactured post drilled and cast in concrete sealed with <br /> epoxy". Provide specific hardware proposed to connect the 6x6 P.T. post to the <br /> concrete capable of resisting uplift and lateral displacement. <br /> 4. Specify size and depth of liole in concrete for post/posting connector. <br /> 5. Decks shall be positive!y anchored to the structure and be designed for both verticai <br /> and lateral loads. Where a positive connection to the structure cannot be verified <br /> during inspection, decks shall be self supporting per R502.2.2 International <br /> Residential Code (IRC). <br /> 6. The lateral load connection required by Section R502.2.2 shall be permitted to be in <br /> accordance with Figure R502.2.2.23.
