WASMINGTON p ` ' ' L�.��+Y Scotty Baldwin . 3915 Tulalip � You may remember we discussed this subject at our staff ineeting last Monda� and decided that the Housing Code would take precedence excepi• for any cairing installed wiiich did not meet the code at the time of installaticn. Subsequent to this �mceting IIutch inspected � the building at the owners request and fc,und that there appears to have been some additional wiring done ;ince the building was , constructed and that some of these changes are code violations which coould hot have been allowed to go uncorrected if inspected. He also reports that the circuits are now overfused and tiiere is not sufficient circuit� to service present day requirements. It is my impression that Ken Callahan' s inspection was probably not adequate cor.oerning the electrical portion. It may be that the bcotleg wirir.g should have been caught and corrections required and that the circuits may not have been c,ver fussed at the time of Ken's inspection. Regardless of this the housing code does not require additional service or wiring above what now exists. I feel it would be prudent that our electrical inspector accompany the housing inspector on V.A. and F.R.A. certification inspections.
