These <br /> comments address building issues only, additional revisions ur additions may be required by other <br /> departments (such as Utilitics, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the I994 Uniform Building Code, <br /> as amended by the Statc of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1995 Edition, unless stated <br /> otherwisc. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Div�sion with two copies of revisions retlecting necessary <br /> corrections. <br /> L Walls with unbalanced backfill exceeding 3'-6" and basement walls over 8'•0" tall are <br /> required to be designed by a licenscd Washington State structural engineer. <br /> 2. The engineering provided does not match the specifications shown on the plans. Provide <br /> lateral analysis prepared by a licensed Washinaron State structural engineer. Reference <br /> location of hold downs and shcar walls as specitied in engincering analysis on drawing set. If <br /> analysis prcpamd by enginecr is for only a portion of the building, the rest of the building is <br /> required to have all braced wall panels cleady marked. (2326.113 UBC) <br /> 3. Specify anchor bolt size nnd spacing at retaining conditions. <br /> 4. Providc tempered glass at required hazardous locations. (2406.4 UBC) <br /> 5. Provide a scction of thc brick venecr including toundation support and dimensions. Show the <br /> following: <br /> a. A I" airspace betwccn thc veneer and backing, 15H fclt and minimum No. 9 gauge <br /> approved typc nomcorrosive ties at 1 for each 2 squarc fcet of wall surface.
