Special charges for connection to the sewer and water systems in accordance with Ordinance 1171-85 and subsequent revisions are '� �`�" applicabie. These charges are based on projected water usage and can be substantial. Applicant is encouraged to obtain a copy of the Ordinance and determine estimated charges prior to Building Permit application. The adual charges shall be computed by the Public Works Department per the Ordinance in effect at the time and according to the ir�formation on the approved plans at the time of Building Permit issuance. 6. On-site detention of stormwater runoff is required per City Standards. Although the Pigeon Creek#2 Basin Plan goals are based on a five-year storm, predeveloped detention release for the east fork sub-basin, recent studies have indicated that erosion and incision is occumng in the east fork of the stream and dovmstream of the confluence of the east and west forks. The runoff rate from a two-year storm prior to development will be required as the detention reiease rate for both sub- basins. 7. 1 reatment of stormwater runoff from paved areas must occur, per City Standards, prior to discharge of the stortnwater from the site or to a stream or wetland. Stormwater detention/retention, quality protection, and treatment requirements for this project shall be those requirements in effed at the time of application for Public Works pertniis. Currently, three options for stormwater treatmeM are presented in the current City Standards. The least preferred option is allowed only if the first two options are unfeasible in the opinion of the Pubiic Works Department. The options for stormwater treatment are, in order of preference: a. an infiltration basin designed and constructed according to City Standards if suitable soils exist on the site; b. a wetpond designed and constructed to City Standards; 7 64
