Special charges for connection to the sewer and water systems in <br /> accordance with Ordinance 1171-85 and subsequent revisions are <br /> '� �`�" applicabie. These charges are based on projected water usage and can <br /> be substantial. Applicant is encouraged to obtain a copy of the <br /> Ordinance and determine estimated charges prior to Building Permit <br /> application. The adual charges shall be computed by the Public Works <br /> Department per the Ordinance in effect at the time and according to the <br /> ir�formation on the approved plans at the time of Building Permit <br /> issuance. <br /> 6. On-site detention of stormwater runoff is required per City Standards. <br /> Although the Pigeon Creek#2 Basin Plan goals are based on a five-year <br /> storm, predeveloped detention release for the east fork sub-basin, <br /> recent studies have indicated that erosion and incision is occumng in <br /> the east fork of the stream and dovmstream of the confluence of the east <br /> and west forks. The runoff rate from a two-year storm prior to <br /> development will be required as the detention reiease rate for both sub- <br /> basins. <br /> 7. 1 reatment of stormwater runoff from paved areas must occur, per City <br /> Standards, prior to discharge of the stortnwater from the site or to a <br /> stream or wetland. <br /> Stormwater detention/retention, quality protection, and treatment <br /> requirements for this project shall be those requirements in effed at the <br /> time of application for Public Works pertniis. Currently, three options for <br /> stormwater treatmeM are presented in the current City Standards. The <br /> least preferred option is allowed only if the first two options are <br /> unfeasible in the opinion of the Pubiic Works Department. The options <br /> for stormwater treatment are, in order of preference: <br /> a. an infiltration basin designed and constructed according to City <br /> Standards if suitable soils exist on the site; <br /> b. a wetpond designed and constructed to City Standards; <br /> 7 <br /> 64 <br />
