The Uniform Building Code provides that all permiu expire <br /> by limi�ation if the work auchorized by ct.�permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of <br /> 180 days at any time after work is co�nmenced. If you wish to prevent the permit from <br /> expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request an inspeaion of work that has occurred, to document concinuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day emension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days.
