The permit authorizes the City of Everett to continue use of United States Forest <br /> Service land at current levels for the next 10 years. It authorizes the City of Everett Parks and Recreation <br /> Department to lead guided hike, snowshoe, ski,backpack and canoeing trips on United States Forest Service <br /> property. The permit fee is based on 3% of gross revenues generated by trips utilizing United States Forest <br /> Service lands. The permit fee for 2007 is estimated to be$534.00. This fee is incorporated into the annual <br /> Parks Budget through the formal budget process.
