Note existing sink <br />cabinet is 30" x 20" and new counter top to be installed <br />in item 14. Remove bath vanity sink and install a 19" x <br />16" wt:ite enameled oval steel sink complete with faucet <br />and plumbing. Note new counter top to be installed in <br />item #4. Replace the bathtub with a new recessed 5' 0" <br />white enameled steel tub with faucet, shower diverter <br />valve, arm, and head completely plumbing in. Replace <br />the galvanized waste lines in this area (under tub) back <br />to the cast iton with plastic lines. Set new tub into <br />nocth wall as much ae possible to keep back from east <br />entry door. Close off head end of tub (southwest <br />corner) with light fcaming and drywall in preparation <br />fo� new laminate sucround. Replace basement tub faucet <br />with new faucet complete. Paint all exposed drywall <br />(new) not covered by new laminate to complete job. <br />All new plumbing fixtures shall be "A" grade and <br />competive styling. All ne�� faucets shall be washerless, <br />Delta or equal. All new plumbing wock shall be <br />performed in compliance with the requirements of the <br />Uniform Plumbing Code, 1982 edition. <br />4. Countertop, Laminate- Work and Flooring Replace toeh <br />the kitchen cabinet and bath vanity counter tops with <br />3/4" plywood counters and cover with laminate (formica <br />o� equal). Remove old kitchen backsplash down to a <br />smooth surface (may need board placed over) and install <br />the same laminate to these same areas trimming out <br />complete. Finish off the vanity counter with 8" high <br />backsplash on all adjoining wall.s. <br />Install 1/2" gypsum water resistant boa�d around all <br />three sides of the new bathtub up to height of existing <br />surround. Cover the same water board with laminate, <br />formica or equal. <br />Owne[ to select all laminate colocs. <br />Covcr the bathroom floor with 3/8" plywood undeilayment <br />and glue down $16 per square yard vinyl (retail price) <br />over. Complete with base and metal sttips.
