Dale Good <br />4712 Nest View Drive <br />Ceerett, Mash.ngton 98203 <br />Dear Mr. 0oodi <br />Hen Application for Variance 126-65 requesting a 5120 <br />sldeyard setback for construction of a garage. <br />After nailing notice of the above variance request, the City Idle received telephone <br />calls questioning the distance for which the variance is being requested. The callers <br />stated the garage in muau closer to the property line than five fast, two inches and <br />that the saves were only 18 inches from the property line. The City Building Inspector <br />was then contacted and he also feels the structure is closer than five feet two inches <br />from the south property line. <br />In addition, per your telephone conversation with Pearl Maddy on December <br />41 <br />19659 <br />when <br />YOU care given the above inforsation, you then stated tee <br />site plan you <br />had <br />submitted <br />snowing the setback of the existing structure as five feet <br />two inches was <br />not <br />me It <br />now <br />exlste (even though it is Identified as e1zisting carport <br />to be closed in" on the <br />site <br />plan), but as you Intended to change it, -sad that it was <br />actually three <br />or <br />four <br />fast <br />from the property line. <br />Our application fords state that •any varlanos, if grantud, may be withdrawn in the <br />event of subaittsl of inaccurate information, niarepresentation by the applicant, or <br />failure to comply with conditions planed when granting tho variance. <br />Therefore, in order to resolve this conflict, prior to a hk)ard c)f Adjustment hearing on <br />your variance request, the City is hereby requiring that you obtain a survey or your <br />south property 11na by a licensed surveyor which also shows the location and distance of <br />the structure fros•the soutn property line. <br />Tne board of Adjustment hearing on your request will be postponed uotil February �, <br />1986, In order to give you a reasonable time to obtain the survey and aubmit an accurate <br />appllcatlort.
