The <br />Uniform BuiIding Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work <br />authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days. If work <br />is on-going, please call to request either a progress inspection or an exteasion of the <br />permit. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br />Departmeat for microfilming as an expired (voided) permit. If you should decide to go <br />forward with the project at some time in the future, a new permit, with new review and <br />fees, will be required.
