4. There is no parking for the existing businesses now. <br />5. There should be more planning and forethought going <br />into the project before the variance is granted. <br />6. Building another building will not rectify the problem. <br />At this time the owner of the property, Goldie Erickson, <br />spoke in her behalf and made the following statements: <br />1. She has been a resident of the city since 1898 <br />and has paid taxes much of this time. <br />2. The existing property is difficult for her to maintain <br />and she would now like to sell. <br />After visually viewing the subject property and considering <br />all the facts and testimony' it was moved and seconded by the <br />Board to postpone the decision on the application for sixty days. <br />However, the following should be provided: <br />1. Innut by the City Traffic Department and City Planning <br />IDepartment. <br />2. A plot plan furnished by the applicant showing the <br />approximate square footage of the proposed building <br />and its usage. <br />3. Sufficient information two weeks prior to the he&ring <br />date to determine the use of the proposed building and <br />the parking requirements that are needed. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Ken Kastler and <br />Pulliam Kemper, 14810 Cascadian Way, Lynnwood, WA, 98036, <br />for a variance from Section 19.14.030 of the Everett Muni- <br />cipal Code, Minimum Lot Size and Width for permission to <br />have a lot fifty-five (55) feet in width for a two lot short <br />plat rather than the city code requirement of sixty (60) feet <br />of lot width. <br />Legal Descrip-ion: Lot 5, Block 3, Beverly Home Tracts, Division $1 <br />Address: 7708 Casino Road <br />Zoning: R-1 Single Thmily Low Density Residence <br />Mr. Kemper represented himself and made the following statements: <br />1. There was a previous variance granted in September of 1977. <br />2. Because of a short plat ordinance change the Engineers <br />have requested another hearing before the Board. <br />Several of the neighbors, their names and addresses are on file <br />(4) <br />
