R E P O R T <br />FROM: Marian Payne, Housing Inspector <br />DATE: October 17, 1991 <br />RE: 1805 Wall Street <br />An inspection was conducted today after receiving a complaint from the Fire <br />Marshal. The following are some of the violations noted pursuant to the <br />Uniform Housing Code and the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br />Buildings: <br />1. The house has been severely vandalized and all vital systems, <br />heating, plumbing and electrical, destroyed. . <br />2. The front porch has been ripped apart, leaving a large open area <br />approximately 4 feet by 10 feet which drops directly into the <br />basement of the house. <br />3. There are holes in the floor of the house which drop directly <br />into the basement. <br />4. Glazing is missing from windows. <br />5. Exterior doors are missing. <br />6. Steps on the front of the house are rotted and deteriorated. <br />7. The roof is rotted and has been partially destroyed by fire. <br />8. The chimney is deteriorated. <br />9. Steps on the back of the house are missing. <br />10. There is no guard rail for the back porch which is more than 30 <br />inches above grade. <br />11. The interior is full of trash and debris and has been partially <br />destroyed by fire. <br />12. There is trash and debris on the exterior prem'ses. <br />13. The premises are overgrown with vegetation. <br />14. The building is open to the public and is hazardous nuisance to <br />inquisitive minors. <br />15. The building remains on the property in excess of six months from <br />the date of issuance of a demolitiun permit. <br />16. The building is a hazardous nuisance and is considered dangerous <br />to the health, safety and welfare of ';he public. <br />1195dm <br />P. <br />
