Inspector <br />(206) 259-8745 <br />OF NNTB <br />SUBJECT DISCUSSED Snohomish County Detention Facility <br />Everett, WA <br />Mr. Frets was asked If it was permissible to run a fuel oil line and natural <br />gas line thru the building stairway No. 2 which is one of the main building <br />exits. He stated that an exposed fuel pipe within this area would not be <br />permitted. Howevr,r, if the piping was concealed in an area with a fire <br />rating equivalent to the stairway construction that then the enclosed piping <br />would be outside of the stairway and would be permitted to cross the area. <br />Preis <br />Mr. Baddee was then asked if he would permit us to run thesepi;es thru the <br />stairway if we furred them in with a rated wall construction equal to the <br />stairway construction.
