CV'* <br />August 19, 1981 <br />County Jail Construction <br />p.u� 21 1981 <br />CITY Of EVERE <br />��` Wa"l+ <br />CITY OF EVERETT, EVERE TT WASHINGTON <br />Attached for your review and comment are three Environmental Checklists <br />addressing three possible jail sites to permit the County to construct a four to five <br />story, 114,000 sq. ft. jail structure. <br />A meeting with the County has been set for 2. p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 1981, in the <br />Public Conference Room in City Hall to the discuss the various issues related to this <br />construction project. The County will provide you with more specific information on <br />the proposal at this meeting. Any written comments you may have regarding the <br />Environmental Checklist should be submitted to the Planning Dept. no later than 3 <br />p.m. on Friday, August 289 to be forwarded to the County. <br />After a specific site is selected, a series of Special Property Use Permit Public <br />Hearings before the Hearing Examiner and City Council will be held to discuss the <br />construction plans and site development. At that time there will be a Staff Report <br />available for your review and comment.
