Copies <br />of the permits are enclosed. Please note that no Certificate of Occupancy has been issued for <br />the remodel. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the <br />work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is <br />commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permits from expiring <br />without documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br />Department for microfilming without final approval.
