July 2, 1971
Mr, Leonard Reichlin
15'L'1 Walnut
Everett, Washington 98201
rhe rerg,
CITY OF
everett
CITY NALL 3fDBBe]
CVEM[TT WBNIHOTON
va¢ot
I NtCCTI O,1 O[/11?M [ NT
Deax' Sir:
/
In reference to our previous correspondence concering your roofing
business. The tii..e allotted for you to compiy with the Zoning
Ordinance has expired and no noticeable improvement has been made
to correct the situation.
We are aware of your intentions to construct a Garage on the property
and hope you are aware thae this is illegal if the Garage is used
primarily for storage of Building Materials or for any business
operation which is prohibited in a D-I Zane. The Garage however
could be used for minimum storage and only as a secondary use.
In the meantime, wether Ghe Garage is constructed or not, the conditions
of the Zoning Ordinance must be met. We will allow an additional
thirCy days from the date of this letter for you to remove all openly
atored business materials and equipment from the area, this includes
tUe alleyway and all adjacent properties.
We regret that we must take these steps and it is not our intent to
create undue hardsUips upon your business but ehe zoning laws of the
City must be enforced if they are to have meaning.
Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the matter.
Youra truly
Robert K. Royce
Houeing Inspector
RKR:eb
