This property also Contains a six space, Paved parking lot in front with more parking space available in back, which were at one time used for customer parking for the small grocery store next door. Apparently a previous owner of the property also concurrently owned the grocery store. The Proposed use of the property is Primarily as a central office for the Christian Slavic Ministry of Help "Light of Hope", a registered, non-profit tax exempt corporation, which engages itself in providing aid and assistance to recently displaced Ukrainian refugees who have relocated to the State of Washington under the provisions of the United States Immigration Code. The aid and assistance provided by the Light of Hope, under its Articles of Incorporation. include finding housing, food, clothing, etc., and providing direct social services for these Ukrainian immigrants and providing them with religious. as well as English language and survival skills instruction. The Light of Hope also ships material goods such as food. clothing. medicine, and other needed supplies to former USSR republics whose citizens are experiencing great economic hardship due to the political upheaval in those now independent republics. There are no proposed structural changes.
