This letter <br />will confitm our conversation on June 16, 1998 regarding the house. <br />Duri�g our conversation you indicated that the property is cucrently on the market for sale, and <br />you requested some time in the preparation of the sale. In regards to your request, I stated that the <br />city could not grant more than a month. ARer that, the city will have no altemative but to <br />proceed with fonnal abatement of the house which has been declared to be a hazardous nuisance <br />to the health, safety and welfare of the public pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code, and may <br />be considered dangerous pursuant to the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous <br />Buildings. <br />If there has been no action taken regarding the condition of the house by July 30, 1998, the city <br />will proceed with a Building Official Notice and Order to cause the building to be repaired in <br />accordance with the curnnt building codes or demolished. <br />If you have any question regarding this matter, please feel &ee to contact me at 42i-257-8680, <br />&om 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
