The Uniform Building Code <br />provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or <br />abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to p:event <br />the pertnit from expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Plaase respond within 10 days.
