Summary 2524 Walnut Avenue Owner: Estate of Ralph rifiel.d On May 8, 1979 we received a complaint from the owner of the adjoining property that the house at 2524 �4alnut was vacant and being vandalized by children. An inspection of the site revealed that the structure has a sub-standard:foundation, wiring system, plumbing system, and heating system. In addition�the interior �alls, floors, �nd ceilinqs are deteriorated as well as t:.� siding, roof, tritR and windows. The lot is overgrown and full or debris. A letter,sent to the taxpayer of the propertyjwas returned as not forwardable. On June 10, 1979 we advertised a Notice of Abatement. There was no response to this notice. A Building Gfficials hearing was conducted on June 18, 1974, notice o£ which was posted upon the property. There was no response from the o�aner or his agent at the hearing. On June 29, 1979 we contacted a brotlier of the owner, Mr. Carl Fifield, and he stated that Mr. Ralpn Fifield is deceased, and the rest of the family does not care about the property as it is not worth anything. We providEd b1r. Carl Fifield with a copy of our correction letter and informed him of our intent to abate the structure.
