The layout of the house has been altered from its original configuration. I can determine this by the more
modern open layout that the home now has on the first floor. Walls have been removed and added to create
the current first floor layout. No permits for these alterations were found in the city records.
2. The second floor area of the home has also been modified from the original layout to create additional
bedrooms. No permits for these altera[ions were found in the city records.
3. One second floor bedroom is currently too small (by IPMC code standards) to be used as a sleeping room.
4. Two additional bedrooms on the second floor area are likely too small as well, due to the sloped ceiling
conditions observed in that part of the house. ( was unable to confirm this due to the lack of entry to those
rooms.)
5. Some hedroom egress and other window frames are deteriorated to the point of failure and should be
replaced.
6. Electrical inspector Tim Alaniz has inditated that the electricat system should be surveyed and be troubleshot
be a licensed elec.rical contractor. Any deficiencies corrected and certify that the system is wmpliant.
7. As communicated to the owner on site, "The building has life safety violations that include the under sized
bedrooms and the egress window conerns."
The owner should submit his written proposal along with a permit application that includes plans to correct the
violations and deficiencies.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
rrs.r:mr.
