July 17, 2013
PUBLIC HEARING — COUNCIL BILL NO. 1306-21
Council Member Affholter opened a public hearing regarding Council Bill
No. 1306-21, a proposed ordinance amending the expiration date for
preliminary subdivisions and preliminary short subdivisions.
Allan Giffen, Planning, stated that this was brought to the city's attention
by a local civil engineer on behalf of her clients who had short plats that
were likely to expire without this amendment. It makes the city's
regulations consistent with State law and consistent from one type of
subdivision to another.
Council Member Affholter invited public comment. There was no
response.
Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member
Murphy, to close the public hearing.
Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council
Members Roberts and Moore who were excused.
Motion carried.
COUNCIL BILL NO. 1306-21
THIRD AND FINAL READING:
AN ORDINANCE amending the expiration date for preliminary
subdivisions and preliminary short subdivisions, amending
Section 5(C) of Chapter 5 of Ordinance No. 2530-01, as
amended (EMC 15.20.210)
Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member
Gipson, that this is declared to be the third and final reading of Council Bill
No. 1306-21 and the City Clerk is directed to take roll for the final
disposition of the ordinance.
195
