The hip has been revised to a <br /> beam and supported with a 4x6 post, which rests on a new 30'-0" long ceiling beam. <br /> (See revised sketch) <br /> 3) Calculations show that (9) 16d naiis are required to resist spreading from a 25psf- <br /> snow load.
