N7, EVERETT, WA. <br /> Upon receiving a complaint regarding the conditions of this aparunent, an inspection <br /> was conducted. The following deficiencies were noted pursuant to the Uniform <br /> fiousing Code, and the Unifortn Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings: <br /> 1. There is no window in the bedroom as required by code for emergency <br /> escape and/or rescue. <br /> 2. The bedroom closet is a converted shower stall with floor drain, drain <br /> pipes from other units, and water supply pipes still mm�ing through the <br /> stall. <br /> 3. The bathroom dces not have a window or mechanically operated vent <br /> providing two air chantes per haur in accordance with code <br /> requiremtns.. <br /> 4. There is aa apartrnent unit over this unit and the construction of this unit <br /> does not allow for fire separation between the units. There are openings <br /> in the ceiling where drain pipes enter the unit. <br /> 5. Windows in the unit are 52 inches or higher from the floor. This height <br /> is in violation of code requiremenu. <br /> 6. There is only one exit door for the unit. Code requires two doors with <br /> windows being higher than 44 inches off the floor. . <br /> 7. The exil door is loose fitting. <br /> 8. The drain pipe ovefiead in the laundry area leakes <br />
