The intent of the ordinance is to help protect the downtown streetscape and encourage economic deve�opment in one of the City's important retail and business centers. This ordinance establishes minimum maintenance requirements for structures in tlie CBD in an effort to keep the streetscape vibrant and attractive. The ordinance becomes effective September 1, 2009.
