WASHINGTON <br />n:et <br />OIATIONS OF CITY CODE AT 3426 RUCKER AVENUE dry AHem,y <br />Dear Mr. Brasher: <br />As owner(s) and/or manager(s) of the above -referenced property, you have the <br />responsibility to comply with the appropriate provisions of the Everett City <br />Fire, Electrical and Building Codes. on several occasions the Everett Fire <br />Marshal's iffice has attempted to work with yoi to get your b+itld'.ug into <br />compliance with the applicable Codes. Because you have either failed to <br />cooperate with the requests of the Fire Marshal, or your efforts to correct <br />Code violations have been miniaal, this matter has been turned over to the <br />office of the Everett City Attorney. <br />This letter is written to put you on notice that you are in violation of the <br />following sections of the Uniform Fire Code, Uniform Building Code and/or <br />Uniform Electrical Code: <br />Sec. 10.301 UFC <br />Sec. 3.101 UFC—Unlawful continuance of fire <br />hazard by failure to repair required fire separation. <br />More specifically, you have failed to correct the following conditions: <br />1) Failure to provide proper portable fire protection in apartments or <br />laundry room <br />2) Failure to seal meter room <br />You are hereby informed that violation of the above -referenced Codes is an <br />offense which may be punishable by a maximum fine of $500 and/or six months in <br />jail. 7 would, therefore, strongly urge you to contact Assistant Fire Marshal <br />Sam Preston in the Everett Fire Marshal's Office at 259-8720 to formulate a <br />plan with precise dates upon which you intend to correct the deficiencies set <br />forth in this letter.and other correspondence that you have received. <br />
