Evere",_GlA <br />98201 described as follows: <br />The SPU was approved for permits to construct Fire Station #2 <br />and a new Fire Administration Building. The Fire Station <br />building will be a total of 14,054 square feet, the <br />Administration Building will have a total of 25,474 square feet. <br />The site will provide a total of 48 parking stalls for staff and <br />public. There will be 21 underground parking, 19 surface <br />parking, and 8 additional parking stalls off the existing alley. <br />The project will also include the installation of 2 underground <br />1,000 gallon fuel tanks. <br />AND, WHEREAS, after proper notice was given as required by <br />law, a public hearing was held on December tom_ 1989 before the <br />City of Everett Land Use Hearing Examiner, and <br />WHEREAS, after consideration of the evidence presented by <br />the Applicant; evidence elicited during the public hearing; and <br />as a result of the personal inspection of the subject property <br />and surrounding areas; the Hearing Examiner made finding and <br />conclusions and rendered a decision on January lfi, l4gn to grant <br />the Special Property Use Permit with the following twenty-tWn <br />22 conditions: <br />AGENCIES WITH JURISDICTION (SEPA CONDITION) <br />A Notice of Construction must be obtained from the Puget <br />Sound Air Pollution control Agency for the installation <br />of the underground fuel tanks. <br />The new fuel tanks must be registered with the <br />Department of Ecology's Storage Tank Unit of the <br />Hazardous Waste Program on a state notification form <br />within 30 days of being put into service. The <br />notification form can be obtained by calling <br />1-800-826-7716. <br />The new fuel tanks must be installed in accordance with <br />the Environmental Protection Agency's Underground <br />Storage Tank Regulations (40CFR Parts 280 and 281). <br />Copies of these regulations are available from the <br />Environmental Protection Agency by calling Ms. Vickey <br />Stansberry at (206) 442-1086 or Mr. Alspach at (206) <br />442-1643. <br />
