Goodsell <br />Job Address: 3732 Rucker Avenue <br />Plan Check No.: 37289 <br />Dear Mr. Goodsell. <br />In response to your application for a construction permit, your plans have been examined and <br />you are advised that the issuance of a permit is being withheld for the reasons listed below. <br />These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be <br />required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br />1988 Uniform Building Code and/or Washington State Energy Code unless stated otherwise. <br />1. Footings shall rest on undisturbed soil not less than 18 inches below finished grade. <br />2. Plans do not show how 1-hour separation is obtained between dwelling units. Provide a <br />section/detail drawing of an approved 1-hour assembly. <br />3. Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) requires vaulted ceilings to be insulated to <br />minimum R-30. <br />4. The plans submitted do not include floor framing plans or a roof framing plan. Provide <br />framing plans for: A) Fist -floor framing (may be shown on foundation plan); <br />B) Second -floor framing (may be shown on firstloor'spacing and Roof <br />d direction of an allay <br />be shown on secoud-floor plan); show size, spec grade, <br />framing members. <br />5. Plans submitted do not show size f beam over bay window at first floor or beam over <br />opening between dining room and <br />6. Plans do not show required smoke detectors. <br />7.
