The sign still must be lowered to five feet <br />from existing grade and must not extend into the sidewalk. <br />2. I:veien Municipal Code (EMC) 19.36.030.11 -'this section prohibits the following signs: Displays of <br />banners, clusters of flags, posters, pennants, ribbons, strcamers, strings of lights, spinners, twirlers or <br />propellers, flashing, rotating or blinking lights, strobe lights, dares, balloons or inflated signs over <br />twenty-four inches in diameter, and similar devices of a carnival nature; except those signs that are <br />permitted in accordance with Section 36.150. Section 36.150 prohibits the display of banners in excess <br />of a total ul' 30 das within any consecutive 365 day period. <br />3.
