Hargis <br />Consulting Engineer <br />Tower Building <br />Seattle, Washington 98101 <br />APR 9 1973 : i!/ <br />.................... <br />CITY <br />En C i EVERETT <br />nececring Dept. <br />WATER AND SEWER SERVICE FOR THE EVERETT TRUST <br />AND SAVINGS BANK ON 42ND STREET AND RUCKER <br />✓/�10�'S 1�ucflE1-e <br />The proposed 2" water service for this bank is satisfactory. <br />The Sanitary sewer connection to the existing 8" combination <br />sewer is according to our existing City code but the five <br />additional storm drainage connections to the 8" line will cause <br />us additional hardship during rainy weather because the 8" <br />sewer pipe is too small to take the additional flow from the <br />parking lo:. <br />One temporary measure that could be taken would be to restrict <br />the outlet on the catch basins to a 2" diameter opening until a <br />larger sewer line could be installed. This would slow up the <br />initial flow and allow the storm water to flow off over an extended <br />time. <br />If you have further questions on this, please feel free to contact <br />me. <br />Charles F.
