With the addition of the <br />following items, the plans are approved. <br />1.. All food service equipment shall meet the requirements of the <br />National Sanitation Foundation, N.S.F., or equivalent. <br />2. The handwashing sinks throughout shall be provided with hot <br />and cold water tempered by means of a mixing valve or combination <br />faucet, hand -cleansing soap and towels. <br />3. Toilet rooms shall be enclosed with tight -fitting, self -closing <br />solid doors. They shall be mechanically vented to the outside. <br />Toilet room used by women shall have 3t least one covered waste <br />receptacle. <br />4. The ventilation system shall be installed and operated to meet <br />applicable building, mechanical and fire codes. <br />5. Wood surfaces throughout shall be sepled smooth and easily <br />cleanable. <br />6. Lockers or suitable facilities shall be provided for the orderly <br />storage of employee clothing and belongings. <br />If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout <br />or equipment, the Snohomish Health District must be notified. <br />An inspection is required about one week prior to completion of <br />the work. Please contact me at that time. This will insure <br />compliance with the Rules and Regulations of the State Board of <br />Health Food Service Sanitation (WAC 248-84). <br />Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions.
